Professor Thomas E. Baker has published a new edition of A Primer on the Jurisdiction of the U.S. Courts of Appeals (2023) (PDF available here). His primer is a concise yet insightful introduction to the complexity and nuance in the subject-matter jurisdiction of the U.S. courts of appeals. The Professor explained, “The Federal Judicial Center commissioned me to revise and update this book. I am proud of it. It is one of the FJC’s most popular publications. The 1989 first edition was recorded as an audiobook.
