J.M. Admissions

Apply to the J.M. Degree

The JM program seeks motivated candidates who are interested in advancing their careers and improving their professional organizations and surrounding communities. Some candidates will have just earned their undergraduate degree, while others will already be in established career paths and seeking to enhance their professional marketability.

New program cohorts enroll each August, and the admissions committee reviews applications on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply by the annual priority deadline of March 15 will receive priority consideration for scholarships, and will have their application fee waived. Applications submitted after July 1 will be considered pending space availability. Some candidates will have just earned their undergraduate degree, while others will already be in established career paths and seeking to enhance their professional marketability. All classes are fully remote, allowing students to attend live, online lectures in the evenings and on weekends while meeting their professional and personal obligations.

Standardized test scores are not required to apply.

Applicants to the JM program should understand that the JM program is not designed to prepare students for the JD program or to function as an alternative means of gaining JD admission, and that JM credits are not transferrable toward JD coursework. The JM degree does not qualify its graduates to take the bar exam or practice law.
