Library Mission
FIU Law Library supports the information needs of FIU Law faculty, students and staff.
Collection Development Goals
FIU Law Library is committed to providing resources necessary to support our student’s legal education needs, while also providing robust research library for faculty and scholars. We collect materials in keeping with the international focus of the College’s educational mission; this includes robust reciprocal sharing activities with world-wide libraries and legal institutions.

FIU Law Library’s policies are FIU Libraries’ policies except as modified or enhanced below.
Patrons are expected to abide all policies and follow instructions of FIU Law Library staff.

Federal Depository Library Program
FIU Law Library is a member of the Federal Depository Library Program. As a Selective Depository, FIU Law Library works together with FIU Libraries Government Resources & Information Department to ensure public access to U.S. government documents and laws.
Governance
FIU Law Library Evaluation and Promotion Manual
FIU Law Librarians are FIU faculty, governed as law librarian faculty. Information on FIU Law Librarian faculty governance is provided via our FIU Law Library Evaluation and Promotion Manual.
Information on FIU Libraries and/or FIU Medical Library librarian faculty governance is provided by those libraries.
