American Constitution Society

The American Constitution Society (ACS) at FIU Law is a student organization dedicated to promoting a progressive vision of the Constitution, law, and public policy. As a chapter of the national ACS organization, our mission is to support and advocate for laws and legal systems that strengthen our democratic legitimacy, uphold the rule of law, and redress the founding failures of our Constitution and enduring inequities in our laws in pursuit of realized equality.

Through various events, initiatives, and collaborations, we strive to engage and educate the FIU Law community about the Constitution and the role of law in advancing social justice. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and interests, but share a commitment to using the law as a tool for positive change. Whether you are interested in constitutional law, public interest, criminal justice reform, or any other area of law, ACS at FIU Law provides opportunities for learning, networking, and advocacy.
