On April 13, 2015, Professor Charles C. Jalloh gave two lectures at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. The first, which was to students, focused on the African Criminal Court (ACC).  The ACC was the subject of an international conference that he  hosted at FIU Law on March 19-21, 2015. The second talk, which was to an interdisciplinary group of law, political science, women studies and humanities faculty, focused on his acclaimed edited book, The Sierra Leone Special Court and Its Legacy: The Impact for Africa and International Law, published by Cambridge University Press in 2014. Faculty from the Virginia Military Institute also participated in the faculty workshop. Professor Mark A. Drumbl, the Class of 1975 Alumni Professor of Law & Director, Transnational Law Institute moderated both sessions which had lively discussions.
