Professor Carpenter recently published a book chapter in “Forensic Psychology in Military Courts,” available here: https://www.apa.org/pubs/books/4317525

According to the publishers, “This book provides a comprehensive review of the many valuable roles that psychologists can play in courts-martial and how they can collaborate with military attorneys to make effective trial teams.”

Prof. Carpenter’s chapter, “An Integrated Approach to Defending Those With Mental Health Conditions,” focuses on how military defense counsel should work with mental health professionals to develop themes that ensure clients get a strong defense.
