Professor Carpenter presented his current research project, An Empirical Look at Law Enforcement Bias in Military Sexual Assault Cases, to the faculty of the Indiana University-McKinney School of Law on April 6. In this project, Prof. Carpenter tests whether the military’s law enforcement agencies process sexual assault cases differently than they process other similar violent crimes against the person.

Prof. Carpenter joined FIU Law in 2013. His research interests are in military justice, sexual violence against women, and capital litigation. To read Prof. Carpenter’s works, visit his Selected Works gallery.
