Professor Ryan Stoa has spent several years at FIU researching water law and policy in the United States.  This year his work included analysis of the Flint water crisis, including an article featured  in JURIST and several blog posts.  Prof. Stoa’s research and commentary was profiled this week by Mark Powell, a writer for The Florida Record.

“Much of our water infrastructure was built to tame and control the natural environment; some of that infrastructure has been effective,” Stoa said. “But re-thinking existing policies may provide some opportunities to improve water systems.”
