FIU Law Professor José Gabilondo has been interviewed and discussed U.S .- Cuba relations on various media outlets. He has also lectured on the subject in the United States and in Cuba.

October 2015

  • October 16: Gabilondo lectured on business structure and tax implications at Cuba’s annual foreign investment conference organized by the University of Havana and the island’s Unión de Juristas. More here.

  • October 23: Gabilondo lectured on U.S. banking law at Abogacia 2016, the annual conference of practicing lawyers organized by Cuba’s Organización Nacional de Bufetes Colectivos. More here.
  • October 27: Gabilondo organized a roundtable discussion on U.S. – Cuba relations at FIU Law and called for a reconciliation process between Cubans and Cuban-Americans. More here.
