In a nutshell (what do you do in your position?):  I am responsible for the overall bar preparation programs at FIU Law. I assist students with all aspects of bar preparation, including strategies, support, extensive monitoring of bar exam preparation performance. I also teach a final year course that teaches students substantive law found on the bar exam.

What do you enjoy most about your job?  I truly enjoy working with students and helping them achieve their goal of passing the bar exam. Working with students is rewarding beyond measure or words.

What should faculty, staff and students know about the FIU Law?  FIU Law is an amazing place to study law. The faculty is second-to-none and the students bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the law school. The law school has had a meteoric rise in the relatively short time since its founding and will only strengthen as time moves forward.

Where is your favorite spot on campus?  The Rafael Diaz-Balart Building, of course!

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about FIU?  FIU has a wealth of resources to help its students succeed in all areas of study. The talent, both in terms of faculty and students, makes FIU one of the premier places to study and work in Florida.

How do you help make FIU Worlds Ahead?  Our program to help prepare students for the bar exam is one of only a handful programs across the country. The unique approach taken to prepare our students with a unique skill set sets us worlds ahead from other law schools.
