Professors Louis Schulze and Raul Ruiz recently contributed to future programming at the Association of American Law Schools’ annual meeting.  Prof. Schulze serves on the Executive Board of the AALS Section on Empirical Study of Legal Education, and Prof. Ruiz serves as the Chair of the Program Committee of the AALS Section on Academic Support.  Together, they proposed AALS programming focusing on topics at the intersection of the interests of their respective sections.

The Sections will convene a half-day Joint Program that will first examine current empirical work on academic support and bar exam pass rates.  The program will then consider the future empirical work necessary in those fields to support student success both in law school and the bar exam.
