FIU Law proudly announces the appointment of Kenneth R. Gelok as the new Director of Development. Gelok will lead FIU Law’s fundraising efforts towards The Next Horizon: The $750 million Campaign for FIU.
Most recently, Gelok worked in the Office of Advancement for the FIU College of Business, fundraising nationwide via corporations, foundations and with alumni in the Accounting and Finance programs.
“Kenny brings years of successful fundraising experience to FIU Law – he was instrumental in securing our largest alumni gift (to date) which established the Abraham S. Ovadia ’09 Career Planning and Placement Office in 2013,” Dean R. Alexander Acosta shared. “His knowledge and connections in the Miami business and legal community will be great assets in helping to secure support for our students and programs. FIU Law has excelled in its young history with the help of our community, and supporters and we hope to continue our path towards preeminence with Kenny leading the college’s advancement efforts.”
