FIU Law Students are Recipients of the Caribbean Bar Association 2018 Scholarships and Summer Fellowships

On Saturday October 13th, 2018 the 22nd Annual Caribbean Bar Association Scholarship & Awards Gala took place where 2L, Loune-Djenia Askew, and 3L, Blairr Miller, were recipients of the Caribbean Bar Association 2018 Scholarships and Summer Fellowships. The FIU BLSA was in attendance to celebrate and support their fellow classmates.

Each year the CBA awards scholarships or Judicial Internship opportunities to Caribbean-American law students. Through its Minority Clerkship Program, the CBA plays a significant role in encouraging and increasing diversity in the legal profession. Read more about their scholarship here.
