During the weekend of March 27-29, 2015, Daniela Abratt, Kelly Moras, Tiffany Blackmon and Katrina Sacayanan competed in the International Rounds at the Price International Media Law Moot Court Programme at the University of Oxford. Assisting with briefs and serving as coaches were fellow teammates Daniel Rock, Crystal Umpierre and Krystin Montersil.

The Price competition was established in 2008 to help foster an interest in international law governing freedom of expression issues. The team was invited to compete after finishing Runner-Up during the Americas Regionals in New York City back in January.

FIU Law finished third overall – from a field of 70 teams from around the world, including teams from NYU, Cardozo, Brooklyn, Oxford, Sao Paolo, China, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Palestine, Croatia, Bosnia and other countries throughout Europe, Africa, South America and Australia.

As the FIU Law team advanced to the Semi-Finals, the team won Preliminary Rounds against India and Ukraine. They team also dropped a Preliminary Round argument to Singapore. FIU Law defeated Cardozo in the Octofinal, and then defeated Sao Paolo in the Quarterfinals.

For the Board of Advocates Appellate Advocacy/Moot Court teams, this wraps up a successful year, with an Octofinalist team at the Wechsler Competition, a Runner-Up team at the Price Americas Regional Round, a Runner-Up team at the Ferrill Intercultural Human Rights Competition, a Semi-Finalist team at the Price International Final Round, and strong performances at both the Florida Bar Orseck Competition and the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
