FIU College of Law graduates once again excelled on the Florida Bar Exam, with 78.9% of its first-time takers passing the February 2017 exam. Over the past four Florida Bar exams, FIU Law’s 87.2% pass rate is more than twenty points above the statewide average, and ranks first among all Florida law schools by more than five percentage points.

The Third District Court of Appeal also recognized Julia Williams ’16 as one of the state’s highest achievers on the exam, and invited her to deliver an address at the Court’s Spring Ceremony for the Induction of Candidates for Admission to the Florida Bar. Ms. Williams will be joining the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps in July.

On the February 2017 exam, FIU Law graduates surpassed the statewide pass rate of 57.7% by twenty-one percentage points, and ranked second out of eleven Florida law schools. The group came within one passing taker of ranking first for a fourth consecutive exam. This accomplishment follows an 87.5% pass rate on the July 2016 exam, 84.6% pass rate on the February 2016 exam, and 89% pass rate on the July 2015 bar exam, all the highest in Florida.
