The FIU Law Board of Appellate Advocates is pleased to welcome twenty-seven new members!

After twelve rigorous weeks of preparation and competition in the 15th Annual FIU Law Board of Advocates Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition, these twenty-seven second-year students exhibited the writing and oral argument skills worthy of continuing FIU Law’s recent successes at state, national, and international Moot Court tournaments.

On November 15, 2017, four of these students argued in the Championship Round of the Intramural Appellate Advocacy Tournament before the Honorable Patricia A. Millett of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, Jill A. Pryor of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and Robin S. Rosenbaum of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Ana Cuello, Co-President of FIU Law Moot Court, reflecting on the success of our students in the Championship Round, stated “the panel of judges marveled at competitors’ understanding of the law and their composure under pressure.”

Following the conclusion of the 15th Annual FIU Law Board of Advocates Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition, the FIU Law Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates is proud to welcome the following twenty-seven students:
