Content Updates
Eleven new journals have been added to the Law Journal Library this month, including the Review of European Administrative Law which is indexed in Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals.
HeinOnline has added significant content to the U.S. Congressional Serial Set, the Foreign & International Law Resources Database has a brand-new subcollection, Reports of U.S. Presidential Commissions and Other Advisory Bodies has been updated, and 247 publications from the Federal Trade Commission have been added to U.S. Federal Agency Documents, Decisions, and Appeals.
Altogether, more than 2,350 titles have been added to various databases in HeinOnline.
New Database
HeinOnline has teamed up with Paris Legal Publishers to bring four new journals into HeinOnline’s user-friendly interface. Complete archives and current content are now available for Review of European Administrative Law, European Journal of Commercial Contract Law, Journal of Trafficking and Human Exploitation, and Journal of Medical Law and Ethics.
U.S. Congressional Serial Set
The second update to the Serial Set is now available, which includes more than 400 volumes and 350,000 pages of content! More than 86% of the Serial Set is currently available in HeinOnline or via HathiTrust Digital Library.
Major Database Updates
The Session Laws Library indexing project continues: all 50 states are already indexed to the chapter or act level from 2000 to date. In 2017, HeinOnline that states would be indexed back to inception one at a time, beginning with the most accessed states. Recently, the indexing for South Carolina was completed back to inception. Other states that have been indexed back to inception include California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Moving forward, the focus will be on Rhode Island.
International Human Rights Law Institute Subcollection
A brand-new subcollection featuring publications from the International Human Rights Law Institute (IHRLI) is now available in the Foreign & International Law Resources Database.
Featured in this subcollection is M. Cherif Bassiouni, the founding member of the IHRLI. He is often referred to as ‘the Godfather of International Criminal Law’ and known for his expertise in war crimes. He authored 14 of the new titles added to this subcollection.
This new HeinOnline subcollection, which is Part VII of the Foreign & International Law Resources Database, also contains dozens of titles, including:
