New Look & Feel: These enhancements begin on the new, simplified Home Page, which has been designed to make it easy to get your research started, to find your favorite tools and content, or to pick up where you left off on a previous session.

Bloomberg has brought full customization to the Home Page with the My Favorites box, which allows you to add all the tools, resources and Practice Centers you rely on every day.

You will also find the Popular Links box, which contains some of the most frequently accessed features on Bloomberg Law. It’s a good starting point if you are less familiar with Bloomberg Law.

The Home Page also includes the Continue My Research box, which contains quick links to the last search run, the last document viewed and the last item saved for later. It makes it easy for you to resume your research from your last stopping point.

Bloomberg Law Search Enhancements

Search Bar: Bloomberg has also made a series of enhancements to the Search Bar on Bloomberg Law, to make it easier to find what you’re looking for, and to get the most relevant search results fast.

The first of these enhancements is the ability to use Natural Language Search over legal content on Bloomberg Law. Simply type your query in plain English, and the Search Bar will automatically surface the most relevant results.

Of course, you can continue to use Terms & Connectors, and the Search Bar will run your search as Natural Language and give you the option to run the search using Terms & Connectors above the result, and run your search accordingly.

Bloomberg has also added site navigation to the Search Bar, so you can find the tools, content and Practice Centers you need on Bloomberg Law simply by typing what you are looking for into the Search Bar.

You can also use the Search Bar to find particular sources on Bloomberg Law, or to find books and treatises by title.

Additionally, the Search Bar has been made contextual. Now, when you visit one of the comprehensive Practice Centers on Bloomberg Law, the Search Bar will automatically detect where you are on the site, and adjust your search accordingly to surface the most relevant content.

Grouped Search Results: They have enhanced the way search results display on Bloomberg Law. Now, when you search multiple content types, your results will automatically be grouped by content type, allowing you to quickly find the most relevant, useful results. These grouped search results can then be filtered, at the touch of a button, by practice, content type and date, among others.

Redesigned Practice Centers

To make the comprehensive practice-specific content even easier to find, they have redesigned the Practice Centers with a sleeker interface that places higher-value content directly on the landing page, and offers highly tailored topical pages.

Added search contexts on these Practice Centers make it simple to choose the most relevant content for your searches.
