Biography

Mary M. Gundrum is clinical visiting professor for FIU’s Immigrant Children’s Justice Program. She comes to FIU from Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center where she was managing attorney/ litigation director for over 8 years. Before that she was Associate Director at Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee and in two other legal services programs in Wisconsin and Florida doing impact litigation including class actions in state and federal court on behalf of low income and persons of color. She also worked at the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York City, a national civil rights group representing low income women of color. She graduated cum laude from Alverno College undergraduate and went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin law school where she received Order of the Coif award and was a law review editor.
