Biography

Daniel Simon is a co-founder of Lalchandani Simon PL, and focuses his practice on the technology and healthcare sectors, as well as real estate related transitions, litigation, and compliance. Prior to co-founding Lalchandani Simon PL, Professor Simon worked at the international law firm of White & Case and clerked for the Honorable Stanley Marcus of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Active in the South Florida community, Professor Simon is a member of the Florida Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL); co-founder of ADL Action, a group promoting volunteerism within the ADL; and is the Co-Chair of ADL’s Miami Civil Rights and Advocacy Committee. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Bereavement Center, a South Florida charitable organization that provides free grief counseling to those in need, and serves on the Board of the Health Information Project (HIP), which trains high school juniors and seniors to teach health education to their peers.

Professor Simon graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Northwestern Law Review and on the National Moot Court Team. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting with highest honors from the University of Florida.
