On June 2nd, Assistant Dean and Professor of Academic Support Louis Schulze presented his article “Using Science to Build Better Learners:  Once Law School’s Successful Efforts to Raise its Bar Passage Rate in an Era of Decline” at Texas A&M Law School’s Conference for Associate Deans.

Dean Schulze’s article explores concepts from educational psychology and how they apply to law school learning.  The thesis of both his paper and the presentation is that teaching students how to leverage science-based learning strategies is more effective than attempts at some schools to shift the responsibility of learning from the learner to the law school.
