FIU Law’s Sports, Entertainment, Fashion, and Art Law Society (SEFA) has announced its second annual symposium: The Metaverse and the Law. Upon the success of last year’s virtual Symposium, which saw over 200 guests across the globe attend, SEFA will be hosting an in-person event at the College of Law on Friday March 25, 2022.
The all-day event will be open to law students, attorneys, and professionals looking to gain a better understanding of the future practice of law. Multiple panels and presenting speakers will discuss the Metaverse, NFTs and intellectual property concerns, consumer fraud protection, as well as the new age of music streaming and sampling.
