All Florida Bar members will receive an email survey from the Florida Board of Bar Examiners asking for their input for a study on updating the bar exam.

The survey seeks input from Florida lawyers about their practice and expectations of newly licensed Florida lawyers.

A special committee of judges, law professors, and attorneys representing a variety of practice areas assisted in the development of the survey earlier this year, and the board pilot-tested the survey over the summer.

Professor H. Scott Fingerhut served on the FBBE special committee.

The research will assist the Florida Supreme Court and the board as they consider what topics the bar exam should cover and methods for testing.
