Professor H. Scott Fingerhut recently hosted a continuing legal education presentation on attorney wellness for The Florida Bar.

Presented by the Criminal Law Section of the Bar, the event, “How to Manage Stress, Anxiety, and Isolation in Times of Uncertainty,” featured Dr. Scott Weinstein and Molly Paris, Clinical Director and Assistant Director, respectively, of Florida Lawyers Assistance.

“Our gift to ourselves,” as Professor Fingerhut began the presentation, this was the third installment of the Criminal Law Section’s Attorney Wellness series.  The fourth is planned for the holiday season in December.

Professor Fingerhut formerly served as chair of the Bar’s Criminal Law Section and currently serves as its continuing legal education chair.

At FIU, Professor Fingerhut is the Assistant Director of the FIU Law Trial Advocacy Program.  He teaches Trial Advocacy, Pretrial Practice, and Criminal Procedure.  He also coaches the Trial Team.
