Professor H.T. Smith participated in a “Stand Against Racism” panel discussion focusing on civic engagement as an effective means to advance the righteous cause of racial justice.

Held as part of a virtual luncheon sponsored by the YWCA of Palm Beach County, the “Stand Against Racism” campaign aims to build community among those who work for racial justice by raising awareness and encouraging community members to take action for change.

The panel included attorney T.J. Cunningham and was moderated by attorney Lynn Whitfield.

Professor Smith is a nationally recognized trial lawyer and trailblazing civil rights advocate, and the founding director of the FIU Law Trial Advocacy Program.  He teaches Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy.
