Congratulations to Mahira Khan ’13 who was appointed as Baker Donelson’s Pro Bono Committee Office Chair for the Firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. In this role, Ms. Khan’s primary focus will be to pinpoint local pro bono needs and coordinate with Baker Donelson Shareholder Samuel T. Bowman for global pro bono initiatives. She currently works out of Baker Donelson’s For Lauderdale office focusing on her practice in probate and litigation. While at FIU Law, Ms. Khan was a student attorney at the Health, Ethics, Law and Policy clinic and interned at the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida with the Honorable Judge Sarah Zabel.
