Professor Carpenter was quoted in the Wall Street Journal on President Trump’s pardon of Clinton Lorance and two other military members charged or convicted of war crimes under the UCMJ. This was of a piece with his appearances as commentator in Eps. 3 and 5 of the Starz show Leavenworth, which discussed the Lorance case.
