President Trump pardoned two service members who had been convicted of serious crimes, including First Lieutenant Clint Lorance. Lorance is the subject of the current Starz series Leavenworth. Prof. Carpenter is featured in that series. President Trump also withdrew charges for another service member who was facing murder charges.
