Congratulations to 2L, Kishel Stubbs and 3L, Juana Cetoute on receiving scholarships from the Caribbean Bar Association. The scholarships were awarded during the Caribbean Bar Association 23rd Annual Scholarship & Awards Gala on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The gala keynote speaker was the National Bar Association President-Elect Tricia “C. K.” Hoffler, Esq., and the evening was emceed by the Honorable Judge Norman O. Hemming III and Mrs. Carla Hill. In addition, Dean Michelle Mason accepted the Leading Advocate Award on behalf of the FIU Law PATH program, which accepted its first class this past summer. The FIU Law Path program received this award for its advocacy for diversity and inclusion and professionalism in the legal field.
