Major Database Updates

The Law Journal Library has grown with the inclusion of 14 new journals. Legal Classics continues to climb with an addition of nearly 300 titles. We also added more than 275 congressional hearings and 300 Congressional Research Service reports to the U.S. Congressional Documents database. The Serial Set grew by nearly 250,000 pages and 400 volumes. Don’t forget to check out the 31 new titles added to Religion and the Law.

Balkan Social Science Review

Vols. 1-13 (2013-2019)

Balkan Social Science Review (BSSR) was established on behalf of the Faculty of Law in the University “Goce Delcev” in Stip, Republic of Macedonia. It is designed to encourage interest in all matters relating to law, political sciences, and sociology seen in the context of the Balkan. It places an emphasis on matters of theory and on broad issues arising from the relationship of wider social science disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary approach in areas of relevance.

Vols. 2-21 (2011-2019)

GSI Articletter is a biannual law journal that covers a wide range of legal issues in Turkey, with a particular focus on the areas of relevance to corporate governance, commerce, investment and IT. It has been published for the last nine years in 21 volumes, as the sole production of Goksu Safi Isik (GSI) members, to update the readers with the most recent developments in legislation changes and to provide commentaries on current practices and cases.

The Green Bag: An Entertaining Journal of Law (second series) is a quarterly legal journal dedicated to publishing “good writing” about the law. It was established in 1997 by three former classmates at the University of Chicago Law School (Ross Davies, David Gossett, and Montgomery Kosma). While calling itself an “entertaining” journal, it is not strictly a journal of humor and unserious work. Rather, The Green Bag aims to publish articles that are brief, readable, and meant to provoke discussion.

The Nebraska Law Review Bulletin is an online component of the Nebraska Law Review. It includes shorter submissions as an alternative to what is published in the printed version of the Review. It also includes “White Papers,” less formal than a traditional law review article or note, which allows authors to publish their piece in a shorter amount of time.
