Professor H.T. Smith recently served as Moderator for a seminar on “Litigation Skills: Killing them with Cross,” part of the 2019 Annual Bench and Bar Conference sponsored by the Dade County Bar Association.
Professor Smith’s panelists included Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge William Thomas, personal injury attorney Michael Haggard, trial lawyer Jerry Hamilton, and criminal defense attorney David O. Markus.
The group presentation discussed cross examination, including the fundamentals of preparing and executing cross, cross examination of expert witnesses, and impeachment.
