On October 12, 2018, Professor Eric R. Carpenter participated in the American Law Institute’s (ALI) Advisers and Members Consultative Group Joint Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, for the current project of revising ALI Model Penal Code’s sexual assault and related offenses. During the meeting, the participants discussed the proposed definition of force and serious bodily injury and discussed the offenses for which those elements would be aggravators.
