Associate Dean & Professor of Law Joelle Moreno has been appointed to the International Advisory Board of the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome. The mission of the NCSBS is to provide the latest evidence-based scientific research, medical practices, investigative and legal techniques, and abuse prevention efforts to the public.

Prof. Moreno is FIU Law’s first Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development, supporting the development of the faculty as scholars and teachers. She is an experienced teacher of Evidence, Scientific and Forensic Evidence, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Criminal Advocacy, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
