Professor M.C. Mirow has been appointed by the IIE, the non-governmental organization that administers Fulbright applications, to a peer review committee for law. He and other members of the committee will volunteer their time to evaluate applications from professors seeking awards for teaching and research in the field of comparative and international law through the competition for 2019-2020. Mirow was a Fulbright professor in Chile in 2009, served on regional review panels for Fulbrights from 2010 to 2012, and was a Fulbright Liaison at FIU. The Fulbright is the premier academic exchange program of the United States and is administered by the Department of State.
