Congratulations to the 2015 Intramural Appellate Advocacy/Moot Court Champion team – Alexis Hishmeh and Amber Plugge – and Runner-Up team – Kristen Catasus and Lynne Wilkerson, who gave watchers an exciting final round of competition! Amber Plugge was named the Best Orator.
On November 5, the two teams argued at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee before the seven justices of the Florida Supreme Court . The teams advanced from the Semi-Final Rounds, held October 21 at FIU Law, and spent two weeks “mooting” their arguments before multiple panels of students and professors to prepare for their argument.
