On September 2, 2015, Professor Charles C. Jalloh was the invited expert on the Africa 54 program hosted by Vincent Makori for Voice of America TV in Washington. He discussed the significance of the opening before the International Criminal Court (ICC) of the trial of Bosco Ntaganda, an alleged warlord, for 13 counts of war crimes and 5 counts of crimes against humanity. Professor Jalloh explained the challenges that the ICC has faced in bringing justice to victims of crimes committed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He then called on African States to give greater support for the enforcement of arrest warrants issued by the Court.
