FIU Law alumni named partners at their respective firms

Three FIU Law alumni, all members of the inaugural class, have recently been named partners in their respective firms.

Congratulations to Kimberly J. Donovan ’05 of Squire Patton Boggs, Jennifer Remy-Estorino ’05 of Kubicki Draper and Mauricio D. Rivero ’06 of Avila Rodgriguez Hernandez Mena & Ferri LLP (ARHMF) on reaching this career milestone.

Kimberly J. Donovan ’05, of Squire Patton Boggs, is an experienced complex commercial litigator who represents and strategically advises public and private entities and individuals in a variety of industries, including healthcare, managed care, real estate development, banking and construction.

Jennifer Remy-Estorino ’05, of Kubicki Draper,  is completely devoted to litigation and handles a wide variety of cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, negligent security, intellectual property, commercial disputes, construction defects, first party property cases, and insurance coverage/bad faith litigation.

Mauricio D. Rivero ’06, of Avila Rodriguez Hernandez Mena & Ferri LLP, concentrates his practice in the area of federal income taxation and estate planning for both domestic and international clients. Mr. Rivero assists clients with all aspects of international taxation, including creating tax-efficient structures for foreign operations by U.S. companies/individuals and creating tax-efficient structures for U.S. investments by foreign companies/individuals.
