On Wednesday November 5, 2014 the Global Legal Studies Initiative (GLSI) at FIU Law, the International Law Students Association (ILSA), and the Instituto Latinoamericano de Arbitraje (ILDEA) will host the Fourth FIU-ILDEA Annual Roundtable Discussion – Current Issues in International Arbitration in the Americas. The event takes place at FIU Law – large courtroom (RDB 1000) from noon -2 pm.

The discussion will feature scholars and experts from the United States, South America and Europe who will discuss current issues related to Transparency, lawyers’ ethic, and party representation in international arbitration. Speakers include: Elena Gutierrez de Cortázar, Madrid Arbitration Center; Renato Stephan Grión, Pinhero Neto Advogados; J. Eloy Anzola, independent arbitrator; Diego Brian Gosis, Gomm & Smith, PA; Alfredo De Jesús, independent arbitrator; and professor Manuel A. Gómez, FIU College of Law.

This event is presented by the Global Legal Studies Initiative at Florida International University College of Law, the International Law Students Association (ILSA), and the Instituto Latinoamericano de Arbitraje (ILDEA).
