MIAMI – On March 23, 2012, Professor Juan Pablo Pampillo, Director of the Center for Legal Research at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico City, Mexico, delivered a talk entitled A New Ius Commune for the Americas: Reflections on Hemispheric Legal Integration to the faculty. Professor Pampillo holds a law degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (Mexico City) and a research Doctorate in Law from the Complutense University (Madrid). He is the author of several books, including El Primer constitutionalista de Mexico (Porrua) and Historia general del derecho (Oxford University Press). He was a guest of Professor del Granado’s and the Office of International & Graduate Studies of the College of Law.
