Janet Reinke received her doctorate in law from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as a member of the Wisconsin International Law Journal, and she is an attorney. She holds an M.L.S. from Kent State University and a B.A. (having done the Honors program in English) from Oberlin College. She received a full scholarship for her M.L.S. degree. Ms. Reinke has held professional-level positions in law libraries since 1991, including serving as a Reference Librarian and Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Law Library for four years and as CALR/Microcomputer-Reference Librarian at the San Diego County Public Law Library for five years.
At Florida International University College of Law, she heads reference and supervises the Lexis and Westlaw programs. She assists law professors and law students with research.
Ms. Reinke has published more than 17 articles in scholarly journals of librarianship and in newsletters. She has served as President of the South Florida Association of Law Libraries and has held a number of other offices in library associations.
