The Florida International University College of Law Library offers a variety of services designed to support faculty teaching and scholarship. Reference services include document delivery and interlibrary loan, assistance in identifying and using library materials and databases, answering reference questions and providing topic-specific legal research instruction.
The Law Library also offers research support for large projects and for in-depth legal research requests. In these cases, librarians work with the faculty member’s research assistants, guiding them through the legal research process and helping them obtain relevant materials and documents.
Faculty services are available to full-time, emeritus, visiting and adjunct professors of FIU Law. Members of the faculty are encouraged to use our Faculty Request Form to submit requests for reference, research support or any other type of library assistance. One of our librarians will respond within 24 to 48 business hours.
