FIU Law Congratulates Alumna Maria Garcia on successful election to serve on the Cuban-American Bar Association Board of Directors
Miami (December 8, 2010) — Law Alumna Maria Garcia was elected to serve on the Cuban American Bar Association’s Board of Directors yesterday evening at CABA’s Annual Election and Holiday Toy Drive reception.
“I am very proud of FIU Law Alumna Maria Garcia, who last night won the Cuban American Bar Association’s election to serve as the newest member of the CABA Board. She and her fellow alumni worked very hard to make this happen. She earned her success. The College of Law is proud of her and her accomplishments,” said Dean Alex Acosta.
