Michele Anglade is the Assistant Dean for Academic Support Programs. She is responsible for the development and execution of curricular and co-curricular programs to improve and enhance students' academic performance.
Dean Anglade has worked in the area of academic support for a number of years. After completing a teaching fellowship with the Legal Education Opportunities Program at UC-Hastings College of the Law, she was the Director for academic support programs at Golden Gate University School of Law.
Dean Anglade received her B.A. from Wellesley College and her J.D from Harvard Law School. While in law school, she was a member and Vice-President of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau; after graduation she was selected to be the law school's first Charles Hamilton Houston Fellow.
Prior to her work in the legal academy, Dean Anglade practiced civil litigation with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Shartsis & Friese & Ginsburg in San Francisco. Additionally, she served as a commissioner and Vice-Chair of the Ethics Commission for the City and County of San Francisco, a commission charged with the administration of local regulations relating to campaign finance and good government practices.
