Professor Adalberto Jordan, born in Havana Cuba, became Federal District Court Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1999. Professor Jordan received his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law where he graduated second in his class. Aside from being a professor of law at the University of Miami and now FIU, Professor Jordan served as clerk for Justice Sandra Day O’Connor on the United States Supreme Court.
