The purpose of SALSS shall be to utilize the collective resources of the member chapters to:
- Provide a vehicle for students interested in working with the South American community after graduation;
- Reach out to other law schools to encourage creation of new chapters;
- Create networking opportunities for its members within the South American community and beyond;
- Seek out community service projects and encourage membership participation in such projects.
