Message from Student Services
Welcome to the Florida International University College of Law. As the Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Services, I am the administrator who is specifically charged to serve as a sounding board and advocate for student concerns. My role is to counsel and assist you. Whether you are concerned with progress towards your degree, course scheduling, classes outside the law school, personal problems or family matters, or anything that interferes with your having a successful experience at school, I’ll try to help or find someone else who can. When I hear about problems that affects you, I’ll make sure that these concerns are addressed by our faculty and other administrators. To that end, I have attached a “FAQ” list as you have questions or concerns throughout the semester.

Success in law school involves more than intellectual curiosity and sense of purpose. It involves refining time management skills, handling stress proactively and forging relationships with faculty and peers. It also involves making the best possible use of available opportunities. Through a coordination of efforts, the College of Law and the large FIU campus provide a broad range of services and facilities that meet the personal and professional needs of our students.
