OCI:
Most employers will interview second- and third-year students in the fall for summer 2008 or permanent positions. A smaller number of employers will interview on campus in the spring. Students must submit resumes to the Office of Career Planning and Placement through eAttorney and choose the employers to whom they wish to apply. Resume collection, student selections by employer, interview notification and interview sign-up are all handled by the CPPO via eAttorney’s OCI+
Procedures for eAttorney
The Office of Career Planning & Placement (CPPO) subscribes to a web-based program called OCI+, which makes participating in On-Campus Interviews (OCI) easy for students. Give yourself enough time before the deadline to upload your resume and make your bids.
Attorney features include:
◊ Employers participating in OCI+ Resume Forwarding and Direct Mail programs;
◊ Resume submission by uploading to the Web;
◊ Notification of interview selections via email;
◊ Interview sign-up over the Web;
◊ Ability to research employers in several databases.
Resume Collect:
Some employers ask us to collect resumes from our students and forward them in one group. The list of these employers can be found on eAttorney. You must upload your resume onto eAttorney to participate in Resume Collect. Employers will contact students directly to schedule interviews at employers' offices.
Direct Mail:
The list of employers requesting resumes can be found on eAttorney. Students are to follow employers' instructions and send resumes on their own to the employers. Resumes should not be uploaded for Direct Mail only. Employers will contact students directly to schedule interviews at employers' offices.
