The College of Law Office of Career Planning and Placement can help you fulfill your hiring needs in one of the following ways:

  1. On-Campus Interviewing Program: One of the most effective ways for employers to recruit our students is through participation in the On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) program. The Fall On-Campus Interview Program allows employers to come to the Career Services Office to interview second- and third-year J.D. students for summer, part-time, or permanent positions. The Spring On-Campus Interview Program, while smaller, provides employers the opportunity to meet with first-, second-, and third-year students.
  2. Resume Referral: In addition to our On-Campus Interviewing Program, the Career Planning and Placement Office (CPPO) also hosts a popular Resume Referral Program designed to attract legal employers who are unable to visit our campus. The CPPO collects resumes from interested students and forwards them to employers for review and follow-up by the individual employers.
  3. Apply Directly: Apart from our On-Campus Interviewing Program, the Career Planning and Placement Office also offers the Apply Directly Program designed for employers who prefer to have students forward their resumes directly to them, accompanied by a cover letter and/or other information.
