Ms.
Lourdes Aguila-Meneses is responsible for the College of
Law budget. She came to FIU in 1972 as a student in the College
of Business Administration and in 1973 she began her FIU administrative
career as a transcript evaluator in the office of admissions. While
working full-time, Ms. Aguila-Meneses was able to successfully complete
first her B.A. and then Master's in Higher Education. As a long-time
member of the FIU community, Ms. Aguila-Meneses has been promoted
to a number of student service area positions of increasing responsibility
including the University Registrar and Budget Manager. Most recently,
Ms. Aguila-Meneses held the administrative position of Assistant
Dean for Academic Support Services and Administration at the College
of Engineering. Ms. Aguila-Meneses sits on different University
committees and serves on the University Misconduct Review Board.
She is also a member of the Board of Directors for La Liga Contra
el Cancer (League Against Cancer).
