Welcome to the Community Service Program page!
The FIU College of Law Faculty considers your community service experience to be an integral part of your law school education and urges you to participate enthusiastically in a placement that will enable you to help others.
The curriculum requirement is 30 hours of community service. This requirement must be completed by the penultimate semester of your law school education. You should start planning for your community service activity during your first year of law school.
The student has responsibility for locating a placement, completing the 30 hours of service, and submitting to the Coordinator of the Community Service the following documents:
- Student Time Log
- Student Evaluation of Placement.
On this page, you will find the following links, and you should consult them in this order;
